Parents Denounce Police for Approving Protest Outside School

家長校外派聲明 斥警方批准開學示威

Parents of Pui Ling School of The Precious Blood were handing out a statement outside the school today, titled “Outrageous! An Organised Bullying!”. The statement criticises the police for approving a 5-day-long protest application outside the school, which was scheduled to begin on the first school day (today, 2nd September). The statement says that this protest seriously affects the primary school students and quoted a child “these so-called protesters are bad guys. Claiming to be ‘loving and caring’ but are here to hurt us”. The child was also quoted saying “I shall never trust the police again” because the police “are unfair, unjust and are one of those who hurt us”. The statement also said that Ms Alpais Lam Wai-sze’s incident is a personal matter, and the school, its students and parents should not be invovled.

A 5-day long protest was approved by the police starting from the first school day (2nd September), but the protest was called off last night. The representatives of the organiser, instead, brought a letter to the school.

Voice of Loving Hong Kong supporters participate this morning’s “protest”. Man in yellow shirt was kicked out from the RTHK’s City Forum last year as he swore non-stop on the live-broadcast show.
